DJ Ryan Smith brings years of experience in live production and event entertainment, along with a lifelong connection to the wedding industry. Growing up, he watched his parents build and operate a successful videography company, giving him an early appreciation for the care, creativity, and attention to detail that go into truly memorable celebrations. Inspired by their example and driven by his own passion for entertainment, Ryan founded LUME.

 

His journey began as a karaoke host while taking on the occasional wedding and private event. Over time, his experience grew, his craft evolved, and his passion for creating unforgettable moments became the foundation of his work. That path eventually led him to focus on weddings and events where music, timing, and atmosphere all play an essential role.

 

Today, LUME specializes in weddings and corporate events, allowing Ryan to focus his time, energy, and expertise where they matter most. Rather than trying to be a DJ for every type of occasion, LUME is built around doing these events exceptionally well, with a thoughtful approach to planning, professionalism, and creating the right experience from start to finish.
